Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 19 April 2026
Welcome to The CM Consultancy. These Terms and Conditions govern my advisory services and your use of my website. By engaging my services, you agree to the following:
1. Professional Nature of Service & Booking
I provide bespoke strategic advisory focusing on complexity, change, and growth. A formal consultant-client relationship is established through the following structured process:
- Initial Agreement: Following your enquiry, a 45-minute strategy session and its associated fee will be agreed upon.
- Confirmation: I will issue a Confirmation of Appointment Session email, outlining the agreed date, time, and scope.
- Securing the Service: Your appointment is formally secured only once the agreed fee has been received in full into my Client Business Account.
2. Scope of Work
The scope of any session is strictly limited to the strategic advisory outlined in my Confirmation Email.
- Advisory Nature: Unless otherwise agreed, the 45-minute session is a verbal consultation.
- Extended Projects: Any follow-up reports, ongoing implementation, or long-term projects will require a separate, formal Email of Engagement or Proposal.
3. Payment & Cancellation Policy
- Advance Payment: To ensure a dedicated and professional service, all initial sessions must be paid for in advance via bank transfer.
- Rescheduling: I understand that strategic priorities can shift. You may reschedule your appointment once, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
- Cancellations: If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the attendee fails to join the scheduled session, the fee remains non-refundable to cover the reserved time and preparation.
4. Confidentiality & Discretion
“Absolute Discretion” is the cornerstone of my practice.
- Zero-Retention: In line with my Privacy Policy, if a preliminary discussion does not lead to a formal engagement, I will delete your contact data and correspondence.
- Non-Disclosure: All sessions are conducted under strict professional confidentiality. Formal long-term engagements will be subject to a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MNDA).
5. Intellectual Property
I own the intellectual property rights for all material on this website, including the “Three Pillars” framework (Complexity, Change, Growth) and all proprietary methodologies. You must not republish or redistribute material from this site without my express written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
I provide strategic foresight based on the information available. However, I am not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the implementation of my advice in unpredictable commercial or global environments.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
